The Refining Process Explained

Our refined oil undergoes a comprehensive four-stage refining process that transforms crude oil into a premium cooking product. The first stage, degumming, removes phospholipids and other gum-forming substances. The second stage, neutralization (caustic refining), eliminates free fatty acids that can cause off-flavors and reduce shelf life.

The third stage, bleaching, uses activated earth and carbon to remove pigments, residual soap, and oxidation products, resulting in a clear, light-colored oil. The final stage, deodorization, uses high-temperature steam distillation under vacuum to remove volatile compounds responsible for unwanted odors and flavors.

The result is a premium-grade refined oil with excellent clarity, neutral taste, high smoke point, and extended shelf life. Our refined oils consistently meet or exceed the quality parameters specified by international food standards, making them suitable for the most demanding food manufacturing and retail applications.
